On Saturday 16 December, we organised a Christmas Fete here at Loose Valley Care Home for our residents, families and friends to celebrate together.
We served hot chocolate, mulled wine, pulled pork baps and an array of Christmassy sweet treats for everyone to enjoy, with Christmas music playing to get everyone in the festive spirit.
We had little craft items for sale, some of which were made by our creative residents, and we also had a raffle with some great prizes up for grabs! We enlisted the help of our resident Doug’s great granddaughter to call the raffle numbers for us, and afterwards she found her confidence to sing ‘Jingle Bells‘ for everyone, which was delightful.
Our team really loves having a full Home and so do our residents, as it brings so much joy when everyone gets together.
