On Thursday 5 December we hosted a wonderful Christmas party for our Loose Valley Care home residents and their loved ones.
Musical entertainment was provided by our favourite Kevin Walsh, including a festive singalong with everyone joining in. There’s nothing that brings us all together in the same way as singing our favourite Christmas songs and festive tunes and it was so special seeing our residents and their families enjoying a lovely get together.
Christmas jumpers and t-shirts were worn (along with a couple of elves!) and festive photos were taken around our Christmas tree and rather large inflatable snowman!
Of course, where would we be without our gorgeous cat Billy dressed in his festive jumper and elf hat, posing with Santa!
Refreshments included a delicious buffet serving sandwiches, sausage rolls, chicken and mini pizzas, along with pulled pork rolls and hot dogs. There were also desserts on offer, and hot chocolates with squirty cream and mini marshmallows, mulled wine and beer.
Everyone was chatting away and it was super to see Doug’s great-grandchildren dancing to the music. Our residents and families had such a brilliant time and said how much they enjoyed it.
