On Monday 9 December we took a minibus trip out to Notcutts Garden Centre with three of our lovely residents– Lillian, Trevor and Joy.
We looked around the shops inside, admiring the decorations, trees and gifts, as well as singing robotic reindeer! We also stopped by the aquarium tanks and looked at the colourful fish, even finding Nemo the clownfish from the film, which made us smile.
It was a very enjoyable trip, with lots of goodies purchased (especially of the sweet variety, with so much to choose from!). There was jolly Christmas music playing through the store and it was bustling with people browsing for gifts like us.
We’re planning a further trip out this week for another three of our residents – Doug, Jenette and Bob – to the same destination, to experience the Christmas magic.
