Our residents and team members at Loose Valley Care Home took part in vibrant and joyous Chinese New Year celebrations, which brought together a colourful and enriching experience.
We decorated our conservatory beautifully to honour the occasion and our residents enjoyed a Chinese meal for lunch, with sides of spring rolls, wonton dumplings, chicken satay and all the delicious dips.
We really love celebrating different cultures around the world on our Nellsar cruises, and there was plenty of enthusiasm to ensure the day was a memorable one – with Chinese dragon ensemble music playing in the background, themed facts and a quiz all about China, its culture and zodiac animals.
Our residents even had a go at writing their names in Chinese style letters, and posing for photos.
We all enjoyed a wonderful trip!
