Mother’s Day 2026 was a truly special occasion here at Loose Valley Care Home in Maidstone, as we celebrated the wonderful mums within our Home.
Our residents enjoyed a scrumptious afternoon tea, complete with a selection of delicious cakes and sweet treats. Throughout the day, families arrived with beautiful bouquets of flowers, thoughtful presents and heartfelt cards to celebrate their mums. It was especially lovely to see great-grandchildren visiting, bringing extra joy to the occasion.
We presented each of our mums with a small teddy bear, a felt love heart and handcrafted felt daffodils or tulips as a keepsake of the day. We also decorated our dining room tables with vibrant orange and purple roses and carnations for a lovely pop of colour.
Most importantly, we made sure every mum felt valued, appreciated and surrounded by love – recognising the dedication and care they have shown throughout their lives.
