On Monday 15 December, we were joined by one of our fantastic entertainers, Kevin Walsh, for some Christmas tunes at Loose Valley Care Home. Kevin is always a firm favourite with our residents and he didn’t disappoint – performing a wonderful mix of festive songs and encouraging everyone to join in with arm sways and clapping. His warm energy made it feel like a real Christmas party!
On Tuesday, we were treated to a special visit from the talented youngsters at Hilton Hall Dance Academy in Maidstone. The children impressed us all with their beautiful carol singing and energetic dance routines, complete with leaps and bounds, and even balancing on one leg! Their enthusiasm was so special and brought back fond memories of childhood Christmas nativity plays.
Loose Valley Primary School children came to join us on Wednesday, to sing a collection of traditional Christmas carols for our residents. Dressed in their festive jumpers, they looked adorable and sang beautifully, filling our Home with magical melodies including Away in a Manger, Silent Night and Jingle Bells.
After their performance, the children spent time chatting with our residents, sharing their excitement about Christmas presents, Santa’s visit and having two weeks off school!
Thank you to all our wonderful visitors and festive wishes from us all at Loose Valley!
