On Thursday 18 December, we celebrated our Loose Valley Care Home Christmas Party – and what a memorable day it was! Our conservatory looked truly magical, decked out in full festive splendour with twinkling decorations, a roaring fireplace backdrop, and our beautiful Christmas tree sparkling with lights, tinsel and a shining angel on top.
Our residents gathered to enjoy a heartwarming Christmas performance by the talented mother and daughter duo, Caz and Ellie. Their show was packed with classic carols and there was lots of singing along from our residents who thoroughly enjoyed such engaging and festive entertainment.
No Christmas party would be complete without a visit from Santa, who made his grand entrance to deliver smiles and hugs to everyone. He brought a touch of childhood magic as he greeted each of our residents personally – spreading happiness wherever he went.
We served some glorious party food too! Sausage rolls and sandwiches, chicken and pizza, mince pies, stollen, and a tempting chocolate log, accompanied by Prosecco, mulled wine and hot chocolates topped off with squirty cream, choc sprinkles and mini marshmallows. Yum!
Of course, our much-loved cat Billy joined in the celebrations, along with Bowie the dog in his Christmas jumper and little Luna the puppy wearing her Santa hat.
It was a day full of festivities – a truly wonderful way to celebrate Christmas together at our Home.
