On the morning of Tuesday 22 August we took our lovely Loose Valley Care Home ladies June and Ada over to Mote Park for some fresh air and sunshine.
It’s a short trip in the minibus from Loose Valley and we are very lucky to be so close to such a beautiful place. The sun was shining as we strolled down to the lake and fed the ducks and swans – a pair of swans even showed off a gorgeous dance!
There were so many children running around having fun which brought such joy to June and Ada, which was so lovely to see.
We then went up to the café where we enjoyed tea and cake. June was surprised by just how big her slice of fruit cake was! What a wonderful morning.
