On Tuesday 18 July we took our minibus to The Malta Inn down on the river for a lad’s day out for two of our gents here at Loose Valley Care Home.
Bob and Doug have formed a lovely friendship and we thought it would be nice to take the two of them out together for a bit of a laugh and joke, as both gentlemen have a great sense of humour which makes it even more fun!
We took a wander down by the river and across the lock to a little outdoor café for lattes all round and a chat in the glorious sunshine. We then made our way back over the lock and along to the pub/restaurant for a sit-down lunch and drinks.
Doug had a huge mixed grill and Bob enjoyed the surf and turf option, along with a couple of Guinness. We then ventured back outside and sat by the river until we returned Home. What a super day!
