This week at Loose Valley Care Home we tried our hands at a touch of resin art.
We used epoxy resin and some rubber moulds to create some beautiful bookmarks. We poured the mixture in and then our residents chose some pretty beads and glitter to decorate them; the beads and glitter sink into the wet mixture which is then left to harden over a day or two.
When completely hardened, the epoxy looks like clear glass and we think they came out fantastically well! We had a lot of fun making them, with lots of laughs and are delighted with the results.
