Loose Valley Care Home celebrates World Book Day with local school children

On Thursday 7 March, pupils from Loose Primary School came in to see us at Loose Valley Care Home to read their favourite story books, dressed as characters from the books.

We had a Harry Potter and Hermione, a pirate, football player and mermaid – even their teacher was dressed as Beowolf a viking!

Paula from our Recreation and Well-Being Team dressed as the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland and Billy was of course the Cheshire Cat!

The children had a wonderful afternoon chatting about their favourite books and characters, and our residents loved the effort they put into their dressing up. They thoroughly enjoyed the children visiting our Home.
