Heart and autumnal art at Loose Valley Care Home

We enjoyed some creative crafts last week at Loose Valley Care Home.

Heart art

Our residents decorated large wooden hearts with some mini hearts inside. They used scrabble letters to add their names on to them and embellished their designs with glitter, jewels and colouring in.

Our resident Rosemary was helped by her sister Janet and they created a lovely heart featuring both their names.

Autumn colouring

Autumn is such a colourful season, with truly inspiring colour in nature – trees feature a stunning palette of golden colours, rusty reds and coppery oranges which are always so beautiful.

To celebrate the start of autumn, we had fun choosing colours to paint tree pictures. We have some budding artists among our residents which is wonderful to see.

Art is something that can be enjoyed at any age and we are delighted with how our creations took shape.
