We celebrated our resident Doug’s birthday on Monday 11 October at Loose Valley Care Home and presented him with a beautiful cake which he very much enjoyed.
Lots of our team members and family came in to celebrate his special day with him and wish him a very happy birthday.

Tortoise time
Last week, Our Head Housekeeper Debby brought in some special visitors for our residents to enjoy and interact with – her tortoise called Tank plus some babies!
They are calm, slow creatures which gives our residents more time to view, touch and pet them at their leisure.
Apparently Tank likes his head and chin scratched, plus his shell as he can also feel this.
What wonderful animals who go at a lovely slow pace and enjoy a long life span!
