We are thrilled to be part of a local initiative – a fantastic idea by Lindsey and Leah who are part of the Loose community, to create a ‘Giving Tree’ inside Sainsbury’s Loose, involving our residents here at Loose Valley Care Home.
Santa’s little helpers put name labels on the Sainsbury’s Christmas tree for each of our residents; customers can then choose one off the tree and purchase a gift for one of our ladies or gents at our Home. There are also labels for another local Home, Loose Court.
All gift donations can be handed in to Sainsbury’s staff who will arrange to hold them for 72 hours to ensure they are COVID-safe. They will then deliver these, along with Christmas cards from the children at Tiger Primary School, to the Homes.
Donations of treats for the hard working care staff at both Homes are also welcomed, to surprise them over the Christmas period.
