On Sunday 11 July we surrounded ourselves with English flags here at Loose Valley Care Home, all ready to cheer on the England team in the Euros.
As always, our lovely cat Billy wanted to join in the fun, showing his support!
We chatted about the game, the 1966 World Cup final and how there are more women succeeding in the sport now, playing and commenting on football shows like Match Of The Day.
It was a pity that England didn’t win in the end, but we were all behind the team who did us all proud!
