Tiger Primary School children visit Loose Valley Care Home

Last week at Loose Valley Care Home we welcomed a small group of children from Tiger Primary School in to sing Christmas carols for our residents.

We had a very full room as so many wanted to come and meet the children and listen to them sing. They sang all the Christmas classics and our ladies and gents were all singing along with them.

Afterwards, the children heard all about our cat Billy and his dressing up, so they wanted to meet him and of course we couldn’t say no! They were all so excited and he loved the attention – it gave our Home such a beautiful burst of energy, full of happiness.

At the end, the children gifted a small teddy of their school mascot to our resident Molly who absolutely adores soft animal toys, so she just burst with joy. The boys and girls stayed a while and chatted to everyone, and as you can see, it was happy faces all around!

We also welcomed a larger group from Loose Valley Primary and their choir and recorder club, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We are loving all the Christmas cheer this year and it’s wonderful to bring different generations together.
