On Tuesday 10 October one of our lovely Loose Valley Care Home residents met a huge milestone and turned an amazing 100 years old!
Peter has had a full life having been through the second world war in the armed forces. He also worked for Maidstone United and thoroughly enjoyed his time there – still talking about it often.
He loves to listen to his favourite musicians and songs and really enjoys chatting with our volunteer David.
Peter was blessed with a lovely sunny day for his birthday and was visited by friends and family. He received some wonderful gifts and a beautiful card from King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.
His younger brother Jack made the trip in for this special occasion, with everyone singing a huge ‘Happy 100th birthday!’ to Peter. He then enjoyed a slice of cake and a beer in the garden sun – what a way to end the day!
Happy centenarian birthday Peter, from all of us at Loose Valley and Nellsar!
