Last week we celebrated our lovely June’s 94th birthday at Loose Valley Care Home.
Her son, daughter-in-law and great-grandson Oliver came to see her in the morning with her first birthday cake to enjoy. They also brought in lots of wonderful presents and cards and spent time opening them together. June always lights up when one of her great grandchildren comes in to see her.
Cake number two arrived in the afternoon! All our residents sang ‘Happy birthday‘ to June and we then welcomed entertainer Rick Boxall in to sing for everybody. He sang all the classics by Dean Martin, Cliff Richard, Elvis and more.
We’re delighted June had such a fabulous day – many happy returns!
