Here at Loose Valley Care Home, we are all such animal lovers and really see the benefit of bringing all different types of animals in for our residents to meet and handle.
Last week we enjoyed meeting Colin the Quail! What a curious pet to have we thought! He made noises that sounded like a Guinea pig and he was a very friendly boy who let some of our residents hold him and chat to him.
We also had a new resident Tyler the Labrador in for most of the day! Our ladies and gents really enjoyed having a dog around our Home. He wandered around with his owner Charlotte who is a member of our Activities Team and enjoyed relaxing in front of the television with residents.
Some of our residents also took him out for a walk around the grounds; June really enjoyed catching the last of the summer sun.
