On the run up to Christmas here at Loose Valley Care Home we put on a delightful Christmas Market for our residents to bring some more Christmas cheer.
Unfortunately, the weather was against us, so we bought the market inside in the warm. We had a hot chocolate stand with marshmallows, whipped cream, and chocolate flakes.
Our residents enjoyed some bubbly along with all the Christmas treats, stollen, panettone and mince pies. We had presents delivered from a fabulous local charity Wishing Hearts so everyone had presents, we also sung well known Christmas hymns bringing a little music.
