Paula, our Recreation and Well-Being Champion at Loose Valley Care Home, has been busy making lots of Christmas angels recently.
Our residents have also been busy making some festive decorations for their rooms.
Each of our residents has chosen which angel they would like, plus had a choice of berries, pinecones and lots of Christmas decorations.
Our festive decorations are made up of a box or lid covered in a snow blanket, topped with mini ornaments such as a post box, mini house, red poinsettias, artificial berries and painted pinecones for Christmas trees; our residents were eager to get their hands on one for their rooms! Paula has her work cut out making them on request!
We’ve also enjoyed dressing up our baby bunny in a Christmas hat and Billy in his Santa suit – they are so cute and cuddly!
