Our staff at Loose Valley Care Home put on quite a show for our residents on Friday 8 May to celebrate VE Day.
We had plenty of singalongs which were great fun and everybody enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere.
Recreation and Well-Being Champion Paula Smy lead the singing and was a wonderful entertainer for the celebrations. She commented;
“I was no Kevin Walsh, but never mind we have Kevin singing in the garden on Thursday 14 May next week. Something to look forward to!”
Residents enjoyed a cream tea and some fizz in the afternoon; a lovely day of reminiscence and togetherness.
