At Loose Valley Care Home we have a delightful new PAT (Pets as Therapy) dog – the lovely Bowie, yes named after the singer David Bowie!
We are a Home of dog lovers and really enjoy having a dog around the place. Bowie’s owner is a volunteer who brings him in once a week to spread a little happiness.
Bowie enjoys a gentle stroke and will happily sit on a bed for residents who are unable to get up. He has a full diary too, as he visits another Care Home and also Maidstone Hospital. What a busy bee!
