Our Recreation and Well-Being team at Loose Valley Care Home have transformed our Rainbow Activities Trolley into an ice cream van trolley for this warm spell!
They filled up the basket with ice lollies and wheeled them around our residents’ rooms, so that each of them could enjoy a cool and refreshing treat as the temperature hots up outside.
They also found a YouTube audio mixture of ice cream van tunes, so that they could announce their arrival as they go – it was very effective and our residents loved the idea!
