Happy birthday Molly!
Our Molly here at Loose Valley Care Home turned 99-years-old on Tuesday 9 November, and the Recreation and Well-Being Team decorated her room with colourful birthday banners to set the scene.
Molly received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from her niece in Canada, and a cuddly Timber wolf in the post from Canada, also with a lovely letter and card.
We helped Molly write a letter to her niece – we are penpals as it’s so nice to receive a letter these days.
Molly was over the moon to be presented with her special birthday cake made by our Chef Dee. She made the beautiful flowers in icing as well.
Molly enjoyed sharing her cake with other residents, with a cup of tea in the afternoon.
