‘YEE-HAW!’ What a fabulous afternoon we enjoyed at Loose Valley Care Home on Tuesday 16 September when we welcomed singers Caz and Ellie with their lively ‘Country Legends’ performance. This talented mother-and-daughter duo filled our conservatory with energy, entertaining everyone with singalong favourites including ‘Islands in the Stream‘ and ‘Nine to Five‘, as well as classics from Elvis, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn and many more.
To set the scene, our creative Recreation and Well-being Team transformed the room into a Wild West wonderland, complete with ‘Wanted’ posters, saloon signs and even a playful jail cell!
Caz and Ellie were dressed up for the occasion, alongside our team members Paula and Jisna, and it wasn’t long before our residents joined the party spirit too. With cowboy hats on and smiles all round, everyone had a wonderful time singing together and soaking up the fun Western theme.
