On Tuesday 16 January we were delighted to invite mother and daughter vocal duo, Caz and Ellie, in to Loose Valley Care Home to sing for our residents in the afternoon.
We all loved their music which included the Mexican tune ‘La Bamba’, lots of Cliff Richard hits, Elvis, Doris Day, Motown music, 1960s, Country music and songs from some well-known musicals including Oliver and My Fair Lady – a wonderful mix of eras, with something for everyone.
Caz and Ellie got several of our residents to sing with them and there was lots of arm swinging and swaying to be seen. The pair go down so well with our residents and this is the third time they have performed at Loose Valley.
We look forward to seeing them again soon.
