After viewing a number of care homes in the area it was immediately apparent that Loose Valley was the one that I wanted my mother to go to. It is set out as a large country house with beautiful grounds and does not have the feeling of an institution. After securing a place for my mother the staff made every effort to make sure that there was a smooth transfer from the hospital and that she was comfortably settled in.
