We’ve created a ‘Winter Wonderland’ here at Loose Valley Care Home, with a Christmas snowy scene back drop of trees – it looks so effective!
We have a sparkling white Christmas tree, reindeer and a polar bear (both with lights!) and Hayley made our brilliant igloo with the help of some of our residents.
We sang traditional carols around the Christmas corner, and our residents wore Christmas hats, scarves and snuggly blankets. We also had a snowball fight with fake snowballs made of cotton wool; everyone had a brilliant time aiming for one another!
It was so wonderful feeling all festive and hearing so much joyous laughter.
