Here at Loose Valley Care Home, we got really involved celebrating Shrove Tuesday this week!
After all our lovely residents ate their lunch, everyone had a wide choice of how to have their pancakes; we had traditional lemon juice and sugar, along with fresh fruit, cream and chocolate spread to choose from.
Afterwards everyone put their best flipping arm forward and we all had a go at flipping some handmade pans and pancakes – with lots of laughs along the way!
We then tried our luck at some themed bingo. It was a very close match as we have some serious bingo-ers here!
We do love to take any chance to celebrate with fun and games whenever we can.
