We marked the arrival of the New Year at Loose Valley Care Home with a special afternoon of music and entertainment from our much-loved performer, Kevin Walsh. It was a wonderful way to ring in 2026, bringing residents together to enjoy familiar songs, shared memories and a joyful singalong.
Kevin is a firm favourite at our Home and has performed for our residents many times. He knows everyone well and always chooses songs that spark recognition and encourage everyone to join in. Our residents especially enjoyed uplifting classics such as Sweet Caroline, with plenty of song requests throughout the afternoon.
To mark the occasion, we offered a selection of favourite drinks, with cherry Bucks Fizz proving to be a popular and festive choice – something a little different to enjoy while soaking up the celebrations.
The afternoon was filled with music and shared moments as we welcomed 2026 together. It was a lovely start to the New Year, and we’re looking forward to many more activities and singalongs in the months ahead!
