Our residents at Loose Valley Care Home were transported back in time to their youth, when our Recreation and Well-Being Team took around a portable tuck shop to each of them.
There was a plethora of goodies for residents to buy and enjoy, including juice, sweetie jars, chocolate bars, nail varnishes, lipsticks, stationery, cards and much more.
Everyone enjoyed buying items themselves to enjoy over the weekend, including mini bottles of wine.
Our lovely little decorated trolley gave our residents the feel of popping into their local shops to either browse or purchase something – and this brought them great delight.
We’re delighted it was such a great success!
