On Monday 13 July we welcomed entertainer Rick Stills to Loose Valley Care Home to perform for our residents from our garden.
An accomplished musician, Rick played the guitar and sang a wonderful repertoire of songs, including hits from The Shadows, Cliff Richard, Chas and Dave, Billy Fury and, a particular favourite, ‘Ernie (The Fastest Milkman in the West)’ made famous by Benny Hill.
He also sang Dean Martin’s ‘That’s Amore‘, when we all swayed our arms in time with the chorus.
We all thoroughly enjoyed Rick’s music and we’re pleased to say he’s due back again to Loose Valley in September.
