Family and friends enjoyed spending time and spoiling their mums on Mothering Sunday here at Loose Valley Care Home on Sunday 19 March.
Our Home saw some beautiful cards, flower bouquets and of course chocolates given as presents – we were so pleased to see our ladies get thoroughly spoilt!
Our Activities Team prepared roses with tags on for our ‘special mummas‘, small love heart keepsakes, artificial roses and red felt love heart decorations.
We enjoyed a date with Kevin Walsh in the afternoon; for a personal touch he handed out a rose to each of our residents while singing a love song. We were all swooning and the smiles on our ladies’ faces were awesome!
Later in the day, we hosted an afternoon tea featuring fruit cake, Victoria sponge and sultana cakes. Red love hearts adorned the tables with Mother’s Day wishes on decorative cards.
What a lovely day, filled with music and lots of love.
