We were thrilled to welcome singer ‘Miss Holiday Swing’ to our Home on Thursday 14 November to entertain us all.
She sang a wonderful collection of 1940s music. She was dressed in a 1940s outfit and her voice was beautiful.
Three songs brought happy, reminiscing tears to the eyes – ‘We’ll Meet Again‘, ‘The White Cliffs of Dover‘ and the beautiful love song ‘A Nightingale sang in Berkeley Square‘.
Our residents keep talking about the afternoon and how Miss Holiday Swing had taken them back down memory lane, which is so special to hear.
We are definitely going to invite her back next year and are already looking forward to it!
