At the moment we are still unable to have entertainers into Loose Valley Care Home and we are really missing our lovely singer Kevin Walsh.
To keep connected, he kindly recorded some songs on YouTube, so we used our smart TV and watched him on the television. You can’t beat seeing Kevin in person, but this was a good substitute until he can come back to see us.
We also did a wartime singalong with Vera Lynn, the Andrew Sisters and enjoyed ‘In the Mood‘ with Glenn Miller. Our residents picked their favourite songs and we searched for them. We found Patsy Cline, Crystal Gayle and songs of the sixties and enjoyed singing along.
Music is so good for the soul and it really brightened our spirits hearing all the great tunes.
