On Monday 31 October our residents Evelyn, June, Marjorie and Steph spent an afternoon at Millbrook Garden Centre enjoying a delicious cream tea, a good browse around all the plants and a spot of early Christmas shopping.
Accompanied by Paula, Charlotte, Hayley and David (one of our lovely volunteers) our residents made the short minibus trip to the local Garden Centre and headed to the café to relax with a selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones, plus teas and coffees too.
After the cream tea they all went to do some shopping; each resident bought either a few Christmas cards, chocolates, presents or decorations for their rooms.
We looked at the wide variety of plants and they also had all their Christmas decorations up and ready which made the whole place very magical, with bright lights and a forest of Christmas Trees all decorated in different colour schemes.
It was lovely to get out and about and have a little taste of some early Christmas sparkle!
