On Saturday 13 July we were excited to hold our summer fete here at Loose Valley Care Home.
We were honoured to have the company of our Deputy Mayor, Councillor Wendy Hinder and her husband the Consort Bob Hinder to open the fete.
Our resident Cathy, who has been at Loose Valley the longest, welcomed the Deputy Mayor to our wonderful Home. She had written an opening speech and spoke personally about Loose Valley and how much she enjoys living here.
We had bric-a-brac stalls, hook-a-duck, wet sponge stocks and name-the-bear on offer.
We served tea, cake and strawberries and then enjoyed a wonderful BBQ with soft drinks and Pimm’s.
We had a lovely turn out of families and grandchildren and everyone really enjoyed the afternoon of activities.
