We celebrated all things ice cream on Sunday 21 July here at Loose Valley Care Home.
We dressed up our trolley, complete with an iPad playing ice cream van chimes, and took it around our lounges to ask who would like a ice cream cone. As you can imagine, it was well received and everybody loved choosing their favourite flavour.
Paula from our Recreation and Well-Being Team carried on with our Chef around our Home to visit residents in their rooms and continued playing the chimes and telling everyone the ice cream van had arrived. There were many happy faces to be seen, as everyone tucked into their delicious treats, with fond memories of childhood.
Even our Home cat Billy took an interest in helping Paula be an advert for ice cream sales! 🍦🐈
