We recently received a heartfelt thank card for our Carers and staff who looked after Kirsty’s Nan here at Loose Valley Care Home. She sadly passed away before Christmas – she was such a character and was loved by everyone who met her.
We have kept in touch throughout the pandemic with messages, pictures and WhatsApp calls and safe face to face visits. Kirsty and her youngest son Charlie used to love visiting their Nan (and great-Nan!) – Charlie used to have his packed lunch and sit with her.
Our Carers received lots of other gifts including instant coffee, hot chocolate, Quality Street chocolates, a moisturising hand pack, a chocolate face mask, a scented candle and Cadburys Roses chocolates.
