Our favourite singer Kevin Walsh came to entertain us all at Loose Valley Care Home on Tuesday 21 September, with a 1950s Grease theme for his afternoon singalong, chosen by our residents.
Paula from our Recreation and Well-Being team dressed up Maureen as a pink lady – she loved the outfit so much and couldn’t wait to stand up and have a dance!
Molly absolutely adores Kevin and the picture of him serenading her is priceless; her smile says it all!
Recreation and Well-Being Manager Viv Stead came and joined in the fun and dressed up in a red polka dot dress, which looked amazing!
Paula and Viv sang two classic Grease songs with Kevin, ‘Sandy‘ and ‘You’re the one that I want‘, much to everyone’s delight!
We enjoyed small bottles of lemonade with straws and slices of homemade cake.
Kevin is a firm favourite at our Home and one resident was already keen to know when his next visit was!
What a lovely afternoon spent singing together and dressing up.
