Our much-loved cat Billy has been busy on his Pet Therapy rounds recently, bringing plenty of smiles and comfort to our residents at Loose Valley Care Home, including entertaining everyone with his usual party trick – drinking water from a plastic cup at the cooler in his own particular way!
He spent time with June, perching on the arm of her chair and playfully sweeping his tail as he leapt from one side to the other. Later, he joined Lilian, proudly posing on top of her beautifully completed jigsaw puzzle featuring two blue short-haired cats. Lilian was thrilled with her puzzle, which she plans to have framed as a keepsake.
When he wasn’t charming our residents, Billy could be found on Reception duty, keeping a close eye on things in our Home – although he does sometimes sneak in a little nap while on the job!
He continues to bring joy and companionship to our residents, making him a truly special member of our Home.
