Elf Day and snowball fun at Loose Valley Care Home

Cheeky elves

This week we all enjoyed some Elf Day fun at Loose Valley Care Home!

Some of our staff dressed up for the occasion and we had elf hats for everyone to get involved. There were lots of cheeky little elves all around Loose Valley getting up to all sorts of mischief.

In the afternoon we had a visit from Phil and Cathy with their keyboard and we all sang along to lots of Christmas music to get everyone in the festive spirit in the run up to the big day. Everyone loved singing along and ringing the Christmas bells!

Snowball shenanigans!

Continuing the festive feel, we thought we would combine fun and exercise, given the recent chilly weather we’ve had.

Paula from our Recreation and Well-Being Team had been busy making lots of snowball pompoms for us all to use. We put some suitably fun Christmas music on, and our residents got to throw snowballs at Charlotte and Paula whilst they darted around our conservatory, which currently resembles a winter wonderland!

It got everyone moving and joking and brought some real giggles! Great fun!
