Christmas show time at Loose Valley Care Home

Singalong with Kevin Walsh

Our residents here at Loose Valley Care Home loved this years’s Christmas show with Kevin Walsh on Tuesday 21 December. We enjoyed a lovely mix of all the traditional Christmas songs, our usual love songs and some 1940s singalongs.

Kevin wore a lovely red waistcoat and sang by the Christmas tree and giant snowman – which is 12 feet tall – the backdrop was a white forest of trees which made for a lovely photo!

We really had a lovely time and it was very festive. Our Paula dressed up as Mrs Christmas and we sang carols in the morning.

Christmas cake

Our wonderful Chef Dee has made the Loose Valley Christmas cake and delicately decorated it by hand. Dee made the letters, holly and berries – doesn’t it look great!

All lit up

Also, two of our many centrepieces for the Christmas table that Paula made feature some pretty battery lights to make them stand out; lots of our residents have them in their rooms and they are so pleased with them.

Merry Christmas everyone!
