We at Loose Valley Care Home will be starting our ‘Carry on Camping’ activities soon – arriving in the Scottish Highlands on Monday 13 September.
We’ve arranged a Scottish-theme lunch and dessert with our Chef and a design for our tables.
Several of our residents have spent holidays up in Scotland, so they are going to tell us what they thought of the country (and whether they saw Nessie!).
We are also going to research some Highland Games and see what we can adapt for our residents, along with a quiz and facts about Scotland – with some bagpipe music playing of course!
We have a beautiful scenic backdrop of a loch and mountains, and we’ll be borrowing a pop up tent to put in front of it, to really set the scene!
