Sunday 6 July was our lovely resident Bob’s 80th birthday which we were excited to celebrate here at Loose Valley Care Home.
We decorated his room with balloons and banners and he celebrated with a good friend and his wonderful dogs in our garden; his Airedale Terrier is called Tayto (after the Irish crisp brand!) and his little dog Daisy is a chihuahua mix.
Bob had a lovely fresh strawberry and cream birthday cake and all our team members wished him a very special day, singing ‘Happy birthday‘ to him. His family came in the afternoon to continue the celebrations and enjoy quality time with him on this special occasion.
