On Sunday 10 April, we celebrated Gwen’s 94th birthday at Loose Valley Care Home.
Her family came in on Saturday and bought her a lovely selection of cards and gifts, and we decorated her room with birthday banners and balloons, which she loved!
Everyone sang ‘Happy birthday‘ to her and some of her friends were asking how old she was and comparing ages.
She was delighted with her birthday cake, covered in colourful jelly sweets, and she opened many more cards and a package containing a lovely box of chocolates which our Manager Alina helped her open.
