We enjoyed honouring our mum-to-be, Healthcare Assistant Greeshma, with a baby shower here at Loose Valley Care Home on Thursday 30 January before she departed for her maternity leave.
We decorated our lounge in green and cream decorations, as we didn’t know whether she was expecting a girl or boy. Our Home Manager Diana expressed her heartfelt thanks to Greeshma for her commitment and dedication to caring for the wellbeing of our residents at our Home, and we presented her with a wonderful gift hamper filled with babygros and handy items for the first few months. She also received a cuddly elephant, money and a ‘mummy to be’ rosette from our team members.
Pizzas and soft drinks were served at the party and we chatted with Greeshma about her plans. She said she will bring her baby to see us – she is due to give birth in April.
We all look forward to seeing her and the baby then….and she told us it’s a girl!
