Last week, our residents really enjoyed some autumnal arts and crafts at Loose Valley Care Home.
We went around our grounds and collected some beautiful fallen leaves so we could create some fantastic seasonal pictures.
This was a great sensory activity; all the different textures and colours of the leaves were beautiful to look at and stimulating to touch.
We added some fluffy pom-poms and beads, whilst some of our residents also used water colours.
Our finished wreath and leaf pictures are fantastic, with real splashes of autumn colour – they look wonderful displayed in our Home.
